Today Baba Ramdev paid tributes to the Swami Nigamanand, who died after a record 114-day long hunger strike demanding immediate stopping of quarrying in Ganga River. Swami Nigamanand had begun his fast on February 19 for that demand and alleged corruption in the government’s system with active involvement of the mafia.

After discharge from Hospital, Baba Ramdev said “I pay my tributes to the martyrdom of Swami Nigamnand,”. Swami Nigamanand died yesterday at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun where the Baba was recovering from health issues.
