62 students pass without appearing in exam

Two persons have been arrested in the shocking revelation that 62 students have passed the annual matriculation examination of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education without appearing in the exams.Their answer sheets had allegedly reached the spot evaluation centers by post.Police have arrested Ashwin Dogra, owner of an education academy at Gaggle, 12 kms from Dharamshala and a woman in this connection.
Tibetan Democracy Day celebrated in Dharamshala

Over thousands of people, including Buddhist nuns and monks along with a host of other senior functionaries and the Tibetans living-in-exile celebrated the 50th anniversary of Tibetan Democracy Day at the Tsuglagkhang temple in Dharamsala.
“It is an institution, which is transparent, which is accountable and abides by the rule of law. In the Kashag’s statement whatever accomplishments we have been able to achieve in attaining greater freedom in terms of law, democracy,” said Tibetan Government-in-exile spokesperson Thubten Samphel.
He added “It’s all due to the efforts made by His holiness the Dalai Lama”.
