Today India will play the semi-final against Pakistan in the ICC World Cup at Mohali-Chandigarh. Ranchi Police are not keen to take any chance, especially when it comes to mood of cricket and Mahi fans in Jharkhand and Specially in Ranchi City. To avoid any wrong incident, Local Police has prepared plans to handle crazy fans outside residence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Team India Captain. Keep in mind the enormous turnout of fans outside Dhoni’s house, City SSP has ordered for deployment of one Police unit containing four constables and one officer.
This decision was taken because some fans of dhoni have started assembling outside his house from yesterday afternoon. These fans are singing songs outside his Ranchi house, Many others fans are busy offering prayers for Semi Final victory of India against Pakistan.
BJP leader from Uttarakhand filed complaint to Police against Arundhati Roy

Yesterday, A BJP leader from Uttarakhand filed a written complaint to police against 49 Yr old writer Arundhati Roy for her recent controvertial remarks on Kashmir-“Kashmir has never been an integral part of India”.
The complaint was submitted in Mallital(Nainital) police station by Pushkar Singh Dhami, Vice Chairman of State Urban Development Monitoring Board and a BJP leader. The police was seeking legal opinion on the application, Inspector in-charge B S Dhoni said.
Uttarakhand Police ready to tackle law and order ahead of the verdict on Ayodhya

In addition to provide relief work in flood-affected area, the state police now has the vital task to maintain law and order ahead of the verdict on Ayodhya title suits tomorrow. About 3000 PAC personnel besides regular police have been deployed at sensitive areas of the hill state and a close watch is being kept on these areas, Uttarakhand DGP JS Pandey told.
“We have adopted a multi-pronged strategy to deal with any situation that may come before us after the verdict is pronounced,” Uttarakhand DGP JS Pandey added. Leaders in communally sensitive communities have also been contacted to help police in controlling any untoward situations, he said, adding Dehra Dun, Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar have been identified as potentially volatile areas.
